"The Chinmaya Mission will never teach you anything. But it is an organization where all come together to learn. The Science of Reality and the Path of God Realization are the main subjects that you will learn in the Chinmaya Institution. There are also subsidiary attempts such as sharpening your personality, blazing your intellect, oiling your emotions, refitting your relationships, recharging your convictions, replenishing your values - in short, you will DIE and in your place a more brilliant person will be born. If your are ready for this Self-resurrection, come to the cavalry - The Chinmaya Mission." - Swami Chinmayananda

Study Groups
"Mere listening to my yagnas will not add to your beauty. These ideas are to be reflected deeply and digested slowly. This process is hastened only when you discuss what you have studied with others. Study groups constitute the heart of our Mission. The ideas gathered by you, when discussed with others, not only become deeply rooted in yourself, but as they become clearer in your own understanding, they also inspire those who listen to you.
Thus, each student, while trying to strengthen his own understanding, can become an instrument for the spread of this knowledge. This process is the dynamic study scheme followed in the Vedantic tradition. This is not a Chinmaya methodology, it is the most ancient Vedantic tradition of study."

Balavihars
"Children are not vessels to be filled, but lamps to be lit."
The seed of spiritual values should be sown in young hearts, and the conditions made favourable for sprouting and steady growth through proper control and discipline.
It must be cared for with the warmth of love and affection, and such a tree shall blossom forth flowers of brotherhood, universal love, peace, bliss, beauty, and Perfection".

CHYK (Chinmaya Yuva Kendra)
"Youths are not useless, they are used less Youths are not careless, they are cared less".
CHYK is a youth organization dedicated to the cause of empowering and harnessing youth potential through dynamic spirituality.

Devi Groups
The first Devi Group, or Chinmaya Study Group exclusively for women, was inaugurated in November 1958, in Chennai, India, with Swami Chinmayananda's blessings: "Salutations to Mothers! I need not mention how happy I am that a Devi section of Chinmaya Mission is being inaugurated on this sacred day. Indeed, women have been, and even today are, the real custodians of our country's spiritual culture. The fall of our cultural standard is a true measure of the growing ignorance in the mothers of our society."
These encouraging words lay the foundation of Chinmaya Mission's Devi Group culture, and these Devi Groups are today an integral feature of almost every Mission centre across the world. Following the same curriculum as Chinmaya Study Groups, Chinmaya Devi Groups have grown over the years as powerful learning forums, open discussion arenas, and healthy support systems for women of all ages.

Chinmaya Dhyana Nilayam, situated on a top of a small hillock is a true divine place of worship serving the spiritual needs of the community. The unique design of the temple was approved by Pujya Gurudev Himself and was formally consecrated by the Pujya Swami Tejomayananda, on Mahashivarathri Day, in February 1999. The highlight of the architecture is its design itself, the form of Lord Shiva, the formlessness. The main deity of the temple being Lord Shiva, the temple also houses Lord Ganesha, Lord Kartikeya and Hanuman. Another feature of the temple is the presence of a gigantic Nandi, the divine vehicle of Lord Shiva, overlooking the sanctum sanctorum.
Chinmaya Dhyana Nilayam is bustled with activities throughout the year. Several Jnana Yagnas are conducted by the resident acharyas and visiting acharyas from other centers. Visitors experience mental peace and comfort due to the high level spiritual vibrations present because of various spiritual activities. All major Hindu festivals are celebrated in a grand style with great devotion and fervor. The day long celebrations include performing Homas, Abhisekhas, Archanas and singing Bhajans.
